Remove any loose and flaking paint.

Brush off any physical surface contamination i.e. moss, general dirt etc.

• Apply a thick coat of Dilunett over the whole surface to be stripped. For woods rich in tannins, work large areas in zones to avoid excessive darkening of the wood.
• Allow product to work
• Remove Dilunett and dissolved paint with a stiff nylon scrubbing brush or paint scraper while flushing with water, alternatively use a pressure washer
• After stripping and rinsing. All porous surfaces must be immediately treated while still wet to neutralise the surface.

Q: What are the advantages of Dilunett compared with other strippers?

A:Dilunett is a solvent-free water-based stripping gel that can be rinsed with water. Easy to use, acts alone and can strip up to 8 layers of paint in one application.

Q: How long does it take to strip the product?

A:This will depend on the type and thickness of coating to be removed. For example, from a few minutes for a stain, to approx 4 hours for up to 8 layers of paint while antifouling is up to 12 hours.

Q: What are the suggested areas of use for Dilunett?

A:Can be used on most surfaces; on wood (some woods such as Oak and Chestnut require more attention before using Dilunett), metal (except Aluminum), plastic, stone, cement etc

Q:How long should I wait before neutralizing the surface?

A:DILUNETT should be neutralized immediately with Net-Trol after rinsing and before it is dry.

Q: Where Dilunett should not be used?

A:Dilunett is not effective for removing certain types of coatings, including 2-pack or baked-on paints, as well as polyurethane paint and varnish. It should not be used on "weak" woods such as veneers, nor on aluminum surfaces.

Q: What should be done if Dilunett darkens the wood?

A: Hardwoods, especially those rich in tannins such as Teak, Oak, Sapele, and Chestnut, can turn dark if they remain in prolonged contact with Dilunett. If this occurs, it is recommended to not allow the wood to dry before using Net-trol to correct the darkening.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
