Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Matt is a water-based, matt paint ideal for use on exterior timber, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete, and more. A tough finish that is highly resistant to cracking, blistering, and flaking and offers water and weather resistance plus excellent colour retention. It's also self-priming and will adhere to the majority of surfaces without preparation. the flexible finish will also bridge gaps in painted surfaces of up to 0.5mm

Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, sound, and free from any dust or possible contaminates that may interfere with adhesion.

• Remove any loose or peeling paint and sand edges of any remaining paint until smooth

  • • Remove any mould or mildew with a suitable fungicidal wash
  • • TImber at risk of decay or insect rot should be treated with a wood preserver
  • New Concrete & Masonry
  • • Must be allowed to cure for at least 30 days before painting
  • New or Bare Wood
  • • Spot prime any knots or sap streaks with Zinsser B-I-N Primer Sealer
  • • Fill any nail holes or gouges
  • • For new or unpainted cedar, redwood, or other resinous timbers prime with Zinsser Cover Stain

  • Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surface as they may contain harmful lead.


    Before applying we always recommend to test a small area of the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

    • Shake or stir well before application

    • Apply using a synthetic bristle brush, roller or sprayer (for airless spraying, use a .017” tip and high-medium 2000-2500 PSI pressure)

    • Ensure temperature is between 10° - 32°C

    • Avoid working in direct sunlight, do not apply if wet weather is forecast

    • Apply the first coat and allow to dry for 1 hour

    • Apply a second coat, paint will fully cure in 7 days

    • Normal application is 2 coats, however an additional coat should be applied to areas of high exposure such as sills and fascia boards.

    Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
