Zinsser AllCoat Gloss is a solvent-based, gloss finish that is ideal for use on all exterior surfaces including wood, metal, masonry, plastic, stucco, brick, stone, cured concrete and cladding. It offers supreme protection and adhesion to all exterior surfaces and will form a vapour permeable, low maintenance, mould resistant coating. Zinsser AllCoat is also resistant to cracking, blistering and flaking for up to 15 years before first maintenance on all suitably primed exterior surfaces.

Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, sound, and free from any dust or possible contaminates that may interfere with adhesion.

Remove any loose or peeling paint and sand edges of any remaining paint until smooth

  • Remove any mould or mildew with a suitable fungicidal wash
  • Timber at risk of decay or insect rot should be treated with a wood preserver
  • New Concrete & Masonry

  • Must be allowed to cure for at least 30 days before painting
  • Previously Painted Surfaces

  • Very hard or glossy surfaces should be abraded and degreased before applying two coats
  • New or Bare Surfaces

  • Apply a suitable primer such as Zinsser Bulls Eye 123 on concrete, masonry or brick
  • New or Bare Wood

  • Spot prime any knots or sap streaks with Zinsser B-I-N Primer Sealer
  • Fill any nail holes or gouges
  • Prime with a suitable primer such as Zinsser Cover Stain

  • Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surface as they may contain harmful lead.


    Before applying we always recommend to test a small area of the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

    • Shake well before and during application

    • Apply using a synthetic brush, roller or sprayer (For airless spraying, use a .017” tip and high-medium 2000-2500 PSI pressure)

    • Only apply when temperatures are between 5°-32°C and avoid painting in direct sunlight

    • Apply the first coat and allow to dry for approximatley 16 hours (paint will be touch dry in 4 hours) please note drying times will be extended in cooler temperatures

    • Apply a second coat

    • Allow to dry for 16 hours, paint will be fully cured in 7 days

    • Normal application is 2 coats, however an additional coat should be applied to areas of high exposure such as sills and fascia boards

    Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.

We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible however screens variations and different surfaces can alter this. Unfortunately in the event you do not like the colour we are unable to accept the product back if they it has been opened.

    Faulty Items

    If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you. Please contact us to discuss these options. If you find fault after 30 days of purchase you may wish to contact the manufacturer directly as they will be able to offer support with the product.
