Bedec Aqua-Advanced is a premium water-based trim paint for interior and exterior use, delivering the durability of traditional oil-based paints with the ease of modern acrylic technology. It offers excellent coverage, flow, and levelling, drying to a tough, non-yellowing finish with outstanding block resistance.

Formulated as a 3-coat system using Aqua Primer Undercoat as the first coat. Designed with the trade decorator in mind the requirements of a top quality trim paint have been fulfilled.

Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Bedec tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Clean Up	Clean up immediately after use with warm soapy water. Remove as much product as possible prior to cleaning.

Proper surface preparation is essential for a smooth, durable finish with Bedec Aqua-Advanced paints. Follow these guidelines to ensure the best results:

• Clean & dry surfaces: Ensure all areas are free from dust, dirt, grease, and wax.
• Remove loose paint: Scrape away any flaking or defective coatings.
• Mould & algae: Remove growths and treat affected areas with a suitable fungicidal wash.
• Glossy surfaces: Lightly abrade smooth or shiny areas to provide a key for adhesion.
• Metal surfaces: Bare steel should be clean, rust-free, and dust-free before applying Bedec All Metals Primer in Phosphate Grey or Red Oxide.
• Timber:
  • Pressure-treated wood: allow at least 6 months weathering before painting.
  • Denatured or greyed timber: abrade back to reveal fresh cells.
  • New planed, finished, or PSE timber: lightly sand to open the grain for better penetration.
• Staining risk: For extractive discolouration, apply Bedec Stain Block and test a small area first. Knots should also be treated with Bedec Stain Block (knotting solution is not recommended).

Always test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure you are satisfied with the colour and finish.

• Stir the paint thoroughly before use and only apply when air and surface temperatures are above 8°C.
• Can be applied by brush, roller, conventional H.V.L.P., or airless spray. Avoid over-spreading the paint.
• Spraying may reduce coverage depending on the equipment used.
• Apply 2–3 coats, allowing each coat to dry for at least 4 hours before applying the next.

Clean rim and replace lid firmly after use and protect from low temperatures. Do not store by hanging on a hook.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 3pm on Friday, weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. 

Delivery of Tinted Products - Tinted paints are dispatched in line with our express order process, shown below. However, due to their bespoke nature, please allow up to an additional 5 working days to accommodate any potential courier delays or delivery issues before receiving a refund or replacement.

We strongly suggest customers avoid booking tradespeople until they receive their order. Next Day Paint will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to order processing errors, delivery delays, or other issues that may result in financial loss.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
