Proper surface preparation is essential to achieve a durable, textured, slip-resistant finish. Surfaces must be clean, dry (moisture content below 5.5 on Protimeter screed scale) and free from defective or poorly adhering material.>

• New or bare porous surfaces should be sealed with a thinned coat of conventional smooth finish Armstead Trade Floor Paint, thinned with up to 1 part white spirit to 10 parts paint. Do not thin Armstead Trade Anti-Slip Floor Paint.
• Not suitable for areas of heavy industrial use, aggressive environments, car showrooms, or garage floors in prolonged contact with wet vehicle tyres.
• Avoid use on power-floated/case-hardened concrete, surfaces treated with silicate hardeners, Terrazzo, Granolithic, or any substrate that has not fully dried or lacks an effective damp-proof membrane.
• Not intended for areas with constant high humidity, such as shower rooms or swimming pools.
• Some concrete floors may require up to 12 months to dry fully before painting.
• Lead Paint Warning: Take special precautions when preparing old paintwork on wood or metal surfaces coated before the 1990s, as they may contain lead. Use appropriate protective equipment when sanding or stripping.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.

Q. Can Armstead Trade Anti-Slip Floor Paint be used outdoors?

A. Yes! Armstead Trade Anti-Slip Floor Paint is suitable for both interior and exterior surfaces such as ramps, staircases, and walkways. Its durable, textured finish helps reduce the risk of slipping, even in wet conditions. However, it is intended for light industrial and domestic use and is not recommended for heavy-duty industrial floors, constantly wet areas, or surfaces in prolonged contact with vehicle tyres.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items
