Proper surface preparation ensures maximum adhesion, durability, and a smooth finish.

• Surfaces must be clean, dry (moisture content below 5.5 on Protimeter screed scale) and free from defective or poorly adhering material.
• New or bare porous surfaces should be sealed with a coat of Armstead Trade Floor Paint thinned with up to 1 part white spirit to 10 parts paint.
• Not suitable for areas of heavy industrial use, aggressive environments, car showrooms, or garage floors in prolonged contact with wet vehicle tyres.
• Avoid power-floated/case-hardened concrete, surfaces treated with silicate hardeners, Terrazzo, Granolithic, or any substrate that has not fully dried or lacks an effective damp-proof membrane.
• Some concrete floors may require up to 12 months to dry fully before painting.
• Not intended for areas with constant high humidity, such as shower rooms or swimming pools.
• This product is intended for light industrial and domestic use.
• Lead Paint Warning: Take special precautions when preparing old paint surfaces on wood or metal, especially pre-1960s coatings, as they may contain lead. Use appropriate protective equipment and safety procedures.

Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.

• For health and safety reasons, spray application is not recommended for solvent-based paints.
• Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C, in accordance with British Standard BS 6150.
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
• Sealing new or bare surfaces: Add up to 1 part white spirit to 10 parts paint.
• Normal use: Thinning is usually not necessary.
• Apply 1-2 coats of Armstead Trade Floor Paint for optimal coverage and durability.
• Ensure even application and allow adequate drying between coats.
• Drying Times (Single Coat, Standard Thickness): Touch dry: 4-6 hours*. Recoat: 16-24 hours*
• Allow the coated floor to dry for a minimum of 24 hours under well-ventilated conditions before use to ensure a durable, long-lasting finish.

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost. To prevent spillage, please store and transport upright.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. We strongly suggest customers avoid booking tradespeople until they receive their order. Next Day Paint will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to order processing errors, delivery delays, or other issues that may result in financial loss.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

For non-tinted products, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. Items must be returned unused, in original condition and packaging, at your own expense.

Incorrect Item

If we have sent you a different item from what you ordered, we will be happy to organise an exchange for the correct goods at no extra charge to yourself, please get in touch to organise this.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
