Sadolin Polyurethane Extra Durable Interior Varnish

An extremely tough and hard-wearing varnish for interior wooden surfaces. Sadolin Polyurethane Extra Durable Varnish is formulated to offer the benefits of a water-based varnish as its low odour, quick drying, and fast recoat time. The advanced polymer chemistry ensures this tough finish is resistant to stains and spills.

Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free from any contaminates which may affect adhesion.

• Fill any minor defects, imperfections, or open joints with Sadolin Woodfiller.
• Only use non-ferrous screws, nails, and fixings.
• Use a scrapper to remove any resinous deposits.
• New or bare timber should be degreased by wiping with a clean, lint-free cloth, dampened with methylated spirits.
• Lightly sand new timber taking care not to scratch the timber surface.
• Remove all defective or flaking coatings.
• Sand all existing finishes to provide a key for good adhesion.

We recommend always following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. Stir thoroughly, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.

• Supplied ready to use, do not thin.
• Apply using a good quality, synthetic fibre bristle brush, applying in the direction of the wood grain.
• Work well into joints and ensure to pay special attention to end grains.
• Allow drying for 2-4 hours before applying another 2 coats.
• Avoid over-brushing as this will cause brush marks.
• Carefully denib between coats using a fine-grade nylon abrasive pad or a fine-grade (P240 or finer) wet or dry abrasive paper in the direction of the grain.

Q. Is Sadolin Polyurethane Extra Durable Interior Varnish a clear varnish?

A. Yes, this is available in a matt, satin or gloss finish. This is also non yellowing which you will find with some clear varnishes can cause yellowing especially when oil based.

A. Sadolin Polyurethane Extra Durable Varnish can only be used on all interior woodwork and is ideal for both hardwood and softwood.

Delivery

All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £3.99 for express delivery.

You can now choose some special delivery options. 

• AM Delivery: Get your order by 12pm
  If placed on a working day before 3pm, the AM Delivery will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday AM (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day for delivery on the following AM. All orders have a charge of £12.99 for AM delivery.

• Late Cut-Off: Get an extra hour to place your order for Next Working Day delivery.
  Orders placed on a working day before 4pm will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 4pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £5.99 for Late Cut-Off delivery.

• Saturday Delivery: Get your order on Saturday
  Option available on Fridays. Orders placed on Friday before 3pm will be delivered on Saturday. All orders have a charge of £9.95 for Saturday delivery.

We do not deliver to the Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland

We always recommend getting samples or contacting us for free of charge colourcharts. We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible however screens variations and different surfaces can alter this. Unfortunately in the event you do not like the colour we are unable to accept the product back if they it has been opened.

Faulty Items

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you. Please get in touch to discuss these options. If you find fault after 30 days of purchase you may wish to contact the manufacturer directly as they will be able to offer support with the product.
