Sadolin Stainable Woodfiller - 350ml

Sadolin Stainable Woodfiller is an easy-to-use two-pack woodfiller that has been specially formulated for use with woodstains. This fast-drying product offers the perfect match to your woodstain giving you a flawless finish for both interior and exterior projects. Ideal for use with Sadolin topcoats it can be over-coated with most types of interior and exterior timber coating systems including paints, woodstains and varnishes.

Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free from any contaminates which may affect adhesion.

• Remove any wood stain or varnish from the area to be filled.
• Remove any loose or decaying wood, after cutting back, treat the area to be repaired with a Sadolin Quick Dry Wood Preserver.
• When filling large areas consideration should be given to splicing in new timber sections.

Always carry out a test application, to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

• Combine the filler and hardener by placing the filler about the size of a golf ball onto a suitable clean, non-porous board, then squeeze about 3.5cm of the hardener from the tube and mix with the filler.
• Ensure the two components are thoroughly mixed together to ensure you achieve a consistent colour.
• Once mixed the filler is workable for 5 minutes, times may vary depending on the temperature.
• Apply with a plastic spatular, filling knife, or similar implement.
• Apply the filler carefully to ensure all air is displaced and good contact is made between the filler and the timber.
• For deeper fills it may be necessary to build up the product in layers.
• Excess filler should be removed after the initial 5 minute curing period using a sharp chisel.
• Filler can be sanded after 15 minutes, carefully sand the filler flush to the timber surface using a medium-grade abrasive paper.
• A topcoat may be applied after 30 minutes of drying.

Faulty Items
