Bradite Roadline RL52 Water Based Paint - 5 Litre - Tinted Colour Match

Bradite Roadline Paint RL52 is a fast-drying, water-based line marking paint designed for roads, runways, car parks, sports facilities and other traffic areas.

Offering good adhesion to asphalt, bitumen, concrete and brick, it provides a highly durable, abrasion-resistant semi-gloss finish that resists wear and prevents bleeding on asphalt or bitumen surfaces. Surface dry in just 20 minutes, it can also be combined with Bradite Low Slip Additive to create a safer anti-slip finish.

Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Bradite tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Clean Up	Remove as much product as possible from the equipment before cleaning with water

Ensure all surfaces are free from dust and completely dry before coating.

• Ensure concrete is fully dry and free from laitance before application.
• Repair loose, damaged or dusty concrete before coating as the coating will not perform properly unless all loose material and dust is removed, and damaged areas are repaired.
• shiny or unpainted nonporous concrete floors should be vacuum blast cleaned to a 30–50 micron profile or etched using Bradite TA37 Acid Etch.
• Remove loose coatings and contamination using high-pressure water cleaning.
• Clean grease and oil with Bradite TD39 Industrial Degreaser. Repeat cleaning if necessary to remove stubborn contamination.
• Lightly abrade sound existing coatings and feather the edges of repaired areas.
• Fill cracks, holes and surface defects with a suitable screed or repair mortar before painting.

Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results. The application should always conform to the codes of practice described in BS 6150 and BS 5493.

• Ensure the paint is thoroughly stirred prior to application.
• Roadline Paint RL52 is supplied ready for use. Thin with up to 5% clean water if required.
• On concrete, wood and other absorbent substrates, thin the first coat with 5–10% clean water to improve penetration and adhesion.
• Apply 2 further full coats for maximum durability. For maintenance, touch up bare areas before applying additional coats if required.
• Allow overnight drying before light foot traffic. Full cure typically takes 3–7 days at 20°C. Avoid heavy traffic for at least 48 hours. Drying times will be extended in lower temperatures.

Low Slip Option: Compatible with Bradite Low Slip Additive LS30 for improved slip resistance.

Mixing LS30: Add one 250ml (400g) tin of LS30 per 5 litres of paint and mix thoroughly immediately before application. Refer to the technical data sheet for full guidance.

Conventional Spray: Thin with 5–15% clean water. Recommended 2.0mm tip at approximately 60psi (0.4MPa).

Airless Spray: Thin with 5–15% clean water. Recommended 18 thou (0.46mm) tip at approximately 2100psi (15MPa).

Note: If using more than one tin of the same colour, intermix prior to use to ensure colour consistency. Check tinted product before application to avoid colour differences.

 

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 3pm on Friday, weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.

However, due to their bespoke nature, please allow up to an additional 5 working days to accommodate any potential courier delays or delivery issues before receiving a refund or replacement.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items
