Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa Matte Paint is a premium, matt, water-based interior paint designed for high-humidity spaces. Specially formulated to repel condensation and resist mould and mildew growth in moisture-prone areas, this smooth matt paint is particularly suited for bathrooms and spas. Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Benjamin Moore tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Clean Up	Remove as much product as possible from the equipment before cleaning with water

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, soap, wax, scaling paint, water soluble materials, and mildew.

• Remove any peeling or scaling paint and sand these areas to feather edges smooth with adjacent surfaces. Glossy areas should be dulled. Drywall surfaces must be free of sanding dust.
• Spot prime with Aura Bath & Spa Matte Finish before and after filling nail holes, cracks, and other surface imperfections.
• Surfactant leaching is a common problem in areas where moisture concentrates on walls like bathrooms & showers. While Aura® Bath & Spa Matte Finish has excellent resistance to surfactant leaching. Surfactant leaching stains on existing coatings must be removed prior to painting. Thoroughly wash surfaces to be painted, removing any surfactants that may be on the substrate then allow to dry. Areas with heavy surfactant leaching, should also be primed with Fresh Start High-Hiding All Purpose Primer (046) before applying Aura Bath & Spa Matte Finish. For best results, allow a minimum of 24 hours before returning to full service.
• New plaster or masonry surfaces must be allowed to cure (30 days) before applying base coat. Cured plaster should be hard, have a slight sheen and maximum pH of 10; soft, porous or powdery plaster indicates improper cure. Never sand a plaster surface; knife off any protrusions and prime plaster before and after applying patching compound.
• Difficult Substrates: Benjamin Moore offers a variety of specialty primers for use over difficult substrates such as plaster, bleeding woods, grease stains, crayon markings, hard glossy surfaces, galvanised metal or other substrates where paint adhesion or stain suppression is a particular problem. Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results

• Stir thoroughly before and during use
• Aura Bath & Spa Matte Finish is self priming on most surfaces. Two coats of Aura Bath & Spa is recommended on all surfaces for best results.
• Use the same brushing techniques as you would for any low-VOC interior coating. Benjamin Moore recommends an extra firm nylon polyester brush for best results. Aura offers excellent flow and levelling. Do not over brush in the attempt to smooth out brush marks.
• We recommend the Benjamin Moore® Aura® shed-resistant, 9.5 mm nap roller cover for best results. Aura dries faster than other acrylic paints, so avoid lap marks by maintaining a wet edge. Roll out vertical sections in 90 to 120 cm (3' to 4')widths. If your edge begins to dry or you see that you missed a spot and the paint is already setting up, allow it to dry completely before touching up that area.
• This product can also be sprayed. Spray, Airless: Fluid Pressure — 1,000 – 2,000 PSI; Tip — .013 - .017 Orifice
• Thinning: Conditioning with Benjamin Moore® 518 Extender may be necessary under certain conditions to adjust open time or spray characteristics. Add 518 Extender or water - Max of 236 mL to a can of 3.79 L. Never add other paints or solvents.

Note: Certain custom colours may require a Deep Base Primer tinted to a special prescription formula to achieve the desired colour.

All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £3.99 for express delivery. We strongly suggest customers avoid booking tradespeople until they receive their order. Next Day Paint will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to order processing errors, delivery delays, or other issues that may result in financial loss.

Special Delivery

You can now choose some special delivery options. 

• AM Delivery: Get your order by 2pm
  If placed on a working day before 3pm, the AM Delivery will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday AM (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day for delivery on the following AM. All orders have a charge of £12.99 for AM delivery.

• Late Cut-Off: Get an extra hour to place your order for Next Working Day delivery.
  Orders placed on a working day before 4pm will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 4pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £5.99 for Late Cut-Off delivery.

• Saturday Delivery: Get your order on Saturday
  Option available on Fridays. Orders placed on Friday before 3pm will be delivered on Saturday. All orders have a charge of £9.95 for Saturday delivery.

We do not deliver to the Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland

Returns

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

We always recommend getting samples or contacting us for free of charge colourcharts. We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible however screens variations and different surfaces can alter this. Unfortunately in the event you do not like the colour we are unable to accept the product back if they it has been opened.

Faulty Items

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you. Please get in touch to discuss these options. If you find fault after 30 days of purchase you may wish to contact the manufacturer directly as they will be able to offer support with the product.
