Benjamin Moore Advance Interior Paint is a premium waterborne alkyd enamel that combines the smooth application and durability of traditional solvent-based paints with the convenience of a water-based formula. Perfect for doors, cabinets, trim, and furniture, as well as primed or previously painted wallboard, plaster, masonry, wood and metal surfaces, it offers exceptional coverage and a hard, brush mark-free, furniture-quality finish in over 3,500 colours.

Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Benjamin Moore tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Clean Up	Remove as much product as possible from the equipment before cleaning with water

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, soap, wax, scaling paint, water soluble materials, and mildew.

• New surfaces should be fully primed, and previously painted surfaces may be primed or spot primed as necessary.
• Remove any peeling or scaling paint and sand these areas to feather edges smooth with adjacent surfaces. Glossy areas should be dulled. Drywall surfaces must be free of sanding dust.
• New plaster or masonry surfaces must be allowed to cure (30 days) before applying base coat. Cured plaster should be hard, have a slight sheen and maximum pH of 10; soft, porous or powdery plaster indicates improper cure. Never sand a plaster surface; knife off any protrusions and prime plaster before and after applying patching compound.
• Poured or pre-cast concrete with a very smooth surface should be etched or abraded to promote adhesion after removing all form release agents and curing compounds.
• Remove any powder or loose particles before priming. Wood substrates must be thoroughly dry.
• Difficult Substrates: Benjamin Moore offers a variety of specialty primers for use over difficult substrates such as plaster, bleeding woods, grease stains, crayon markings, hard glossy surfaces, galvanised metal or other substrates where paint adhesion or stain suppression is a particular problem. Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results

• Do not apply when air and surface temperatures are below 10 °C (50 °F)
• Stir thoroughly before use
• Apply one or two coats
• New surfaces should be fully primed, and previously painted surfaces may be primed or spot primed as necessary.
• For best results, use a Benjamin Moore Professional custom-blended nylon/polyester brush, Benjamin Moore Professional roller, or a similar product
• This product can also be sprayed. Spray, Airless: Pressure / 1,500 – 2,500 PSI Tip / 0.013 – 0.017. Spray, HVLP: Fluid Pressure — 20 PSI; Tip — 1.8 Tip.
• Thinning is unnecessary, but if required to obtain desired application properties, a small amount of clean water may be added. Never add other paints or solvents.

Note: Certain custom colours may require a Deep Base Primer tinted to a special prescription formula to achieve the desired colour.

Note: Although Advance yellows less than conventional alkyds, a slight amount of yellowing may occur. This effect is accelerated in dark or poorly ventilated areas and is more visible in lighter colours.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
