Armstead Trade Pliolite® Based Masonry Paint is a professional-quality, durable, solvent-based smooth masonry paint designed to provide long-lasting protection in even the most challenging weather conditions. Formulated with Pliolite® Acrylated Rubber resins, it delivers excellent adhesion, durability, and resistance to moisture and alkali attack.

This high-performance paint is easy to apply, offers excellent coverage, and can be used virtually all year round, even in cold or showery conditions, with application possible at temperatures as low as -5°C. BBA certified for up to 15 years of protection, it ensures a reliable and professional finish on a wide range of exterior masonry surfaces.

Allow all new surfaces to dry out completely before painting. Remove all loose or defective paint, and any powdery residues, by thorough brushing and scraping with a stiff fibre brush.

• Treat areas affected by mould, lichens, algae, or moss with Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash and allow to dry.
• Make good any minor surface defects. For larger holes or cracks, use a suitable sand and cement mix and allow to dry thoroughly.
• Surfaces that remain powdery, friable, or chalky after thorough preparation should be sealed with Armstead Trade Stabilising Primer.
• Do not seal sound new or bare surfaces with stabilising primer.
• Do not apply Armstead Trade Pliolite® Based Masonry Paint during wet or frosty weather. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contamination before application.
• Common Fletton bricks should not be painted (see BRE Information Paper Number IP22/79, Painting of Common Fletton Brickwork).
• Take special precautions when preparing pre-1990s paint surfaces over wood and metal, as they may contain harmful lead.

Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.

• Apply by brush or roller only. For health and safety reasons, spray application is not recommended for any solvent-based paints.
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure a consistent finish.
• Apply 1 or 2 coats of Armstead Trade Pliolite® Based Masonry Paint as required for full coverage and a durable finish.

Q. Can Armstead Trade Pliolite Based Masonry Paint be applied in cold or showery weather?

A. Yes! One of the benefits of Armstead Trade Pliolite Masonry Paint is its tolerance to cold and showery conditions. It can be applied to exterior masonry surfaces at temperatures as low as -5°C, making it suitable for most times of the year. Always ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose material before application for the best results.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. 

Delivery of Tinted Products - Tinted paints are dispatched in line with our express order process, shown below. However, due to their bespoke nature, please allow up to an additional 5 working days to accommodate any potential courier delays or delivery issues before receiving a refund or replacement.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
