Replace traditional window putty with Timbabuild Timbaglaze Multi-Purpose Glazing Sealant, a professional hybrid polymer glazing sealant designed for glazing, renovation and timber repair projects. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, Timbaglaze provides a durable, weatherproof and flexible seal that bonds to most common building materials, including damp and wet surfaces.

Developed as part of the Timbabuild Wood Repair System, Timbaglaze is the ideal choice for installing or repairing glazing units in timber windows, doors and frames. Unlike traditional putty, it offers exceptional initial grab, excellent UV and weather resistance, and can be painted after just one hour, helping you complete repairs more quickly.

Its permanently flexible, non-shrinking formula creates a long-lasting seal that absorbs movement without cracking, making it ideal for heritage restoration, listed buildings, renovation projects and everyday glazing repairs. Suitable for use with single and double-glazed units, including systems using butyl tapes and hot melt spacers.

For the best adhesion and long-lasting performance:

• Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry where possible, and free from grease, oil, dust and loose material.
• Remove all old glazing putty, failed sealant or loose debris before application.
• Although Timbaglaze can be applied to damp or wet surfaces, removing standing water will improve handling.
• Test adhesion on unfamiliar substrates before beginning large projects.
• Apply masking tape either side of the joint if a neat finish is required.

1. Cut the threaded end of the cartridge and screw on the supplied nozzle.
2. Trim the nozzle to the required bead size at approximately a 45° angle.
3. Insert the cartridge into a standard sealant or mastic gun.
4. Apply a continuous, even bead directly into the glazing rebate or joint.
5. Tool the sealant immediately to achieve a smooth finish.
6. Remove any masking tape before the sealant begins to cure.
7. The sealant becomes paintable after approximately 1 hour and fully cures within 24 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. However, due to their bespoke nature, please allow up to an additional 5 working days to accommodate any potential courier delays or delivery issues before receiving a refund or replacement.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

If we have sent you a different item from what you ordered, we will be happy to organise an exchange for the correct goods at no extra charge to yourself, please get in touch to organise this.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
