Tikkurila Luja 20 Paint - Tinted Colour Match

Tikkurila Luja 20 is an exceptionally durable satin paint developed for demanding interior environments such as kitchens, bathrooms and commercial wet areas. This high-performance water-based acrylic paint contains mould-resistant and anti-microbial additives, helping to maintain cleaner, more hygienic surfaces. Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Tikkurila tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order. Note: Depending on the amount of colourant required to mix your chosen colour, there may be up to a 10% variant on the advertised paint volume.

Use on concrete, plaster, brick, filler-treated surfaces, plasterboard, chipboard and wood fibreboard, on both new and previously painted substrates.

Clean Up	Remove as much product as possible from the equipment before cleaning with water

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and properly prepared before painting. Apply only when the ambient temperature is above +5°C and the relative humidity is below 80%.

Unpainted Surfaces

• Remove all dirt, dust and contaminants to achieve optimum adhesion.
• Level surfaces, fill cracks, holes and imperfections with suitable Tikkurila Presto or Spakkeli filler, then sand.
• Remove sanding dust.
• Prime with Luja Universal Primer, Ykköspohja or Varma Primer. Prime bathroom panel ceilings with Multistop isolating primer.

Previously Painted Surfaces

• Clean surfaces thoroughly using Tikkurila Maalipesu Seinäpesu detergent.
• Remove any loose or flaking paint and sand glossy to create a key.
• Remove sanding dust and fill cracks, holes and imperfections with Tikkurila Presto filler.
• Sand smooth and remove dust
• If necessary, prime with Luja Yleispohjamaali, Ykköspohja or Varma primer before finishing.

Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

• Stir thoroughly before use.
• Apply 1–2 coats using a brush, roller or spray.

Spray Application:

Airless spraying - nozzle 0.015"–0.021" – thinning 0–5% by volume.

Note: If using more than one tin of the same colour, intermix prior to use to ensure colour consistency. Check tinted product before application to avoid colour differences.

The coating reaches its final hardness and durability after around one month under normal conditions. During this curing period, handle surfaces with care. If cleaning is required shortly after painting, use only a soft brush or lightly damp cloth.

Allow the painted surface to cure for approximately one month before carrying out routine cleaning. Once fully cured, clean using a soft brush, sponge or cloth with a neutral pH (6–8) detergent solution. For heavier soiling, use a mild alkaline cleaner (pH 8–10), then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
