tesa® Precision Mask® 4334 is a high-grade professional painting tape engineered to deliver razor-sharp, clean paint edges on smooth and slightly textured surfaces. Combining a supple washi paper backing with a perfectly balanced acrylic adhesive, it adheres flush to surfaces to prevent paint bleed and paint tears - eliminating the need for costly touch-up work.

Suitable for both indoor masking for up to 6 months and outdoor masking for up to 8 weeks, tesa® 4334 is designed for high-quality painting, lacquering, and spray painting work. Its heat resistance of up to 150°C makes it suitable for spray painting applications followed by oven drying at up to 120°C for 30 minutes. The thin, low-elongating backing makes it ideal for two-tone applications and long, straight lines where precision is essential.

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and contamination before applying the tape
• Unroll the tape and apply firmly along the masking line, pressing down the edges with a finger or squeegee to ensure full contact with the surface
• For two-tone or long straight lines, apply the tape in sections, overlapping slightly and keeping the line consistent
• Apply paint or lacquer as required - the tape is suitable for brush, roller, and spray application
• For spray painting with oven drying, ensure oven temperature does not exceed 120°C for 30 minutes
• Remove the tape at a 45° angle while the paint is still slightly wet for the cleanest edge, or once fully dry - do not leave beyond the recommended masking period
• Remove slowly and steadily to avoid tearing or lifting the paint film

• Remove the tape within the recommended masking period — up to 6 months indoors and up to 8 weeks outdoors
• Do not leave the tape in place beyond the recommended period as adhesive residue may become harder to remove
• Inspect paint edges after removal and allow the paint to cure fully before any further work

Storage

• Store unused rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources
• Keep in original packaging to protect the adhesive from dust and contamination
• Avoid storing in areas of high humidity which may affect adhesive performance

Q. How long can tesa® Precision Mask® 4334 be left on a surface?

A. Tesa® Precision Mask® 4334 can be left in place for up to 6 months for indoor masking applications and up to 8 weeks for outdoor masking. Removal beyond these periods is not recommended as it may affect the cleanliness of removal and the quality of the paint edge.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items
