Properly prepare exterior surfaces with Sandtex Trade Fungicidal Wash. Exterior walls and wood can be prone to mould, fungal and lichen growth which can affect the adhesion of top coats which is why they require adequate preparation before painting. This multipurpose product is ideal to remove mould on walls and as an antifungal treatment on wood. It can also be used as a path, patio and decking treatment to keep exterior surfaces free from mould and fungal growth. Once treated your walls and exterior surfaces will be ready to paint with a suitable topcoat.

We always recommend testing the product on the surface to ensure compatibility. Do not dilute this product, it is supplied ready to use.

• Apply using a nylon bristle brush and scrub into the surface.
• Allow to dry then all signs of growth can be removed with a scrapper or stiff, bristled brush.
• Apply a second coat if required, otherwise wash the surface and allow it to dry before painting.

Q. At what stage should I use Sandtex Trade Fungicidal Wash?

A. Fungicidal Wash is commonly used as a preparatory step before painting exterior surfaces. By removing fungal growth and sterilizing the surface, it ensures a clean and stable base for the paint to adhere to. This helps improve the durability and longevity of the paint job. The wash not only eliminates visible fungal growth but also sterilizes the surface, preventing further fungal infestations. This is particularly important if you're working on surfaces that are prone to dampness or are located in shaded areas, as these conditions can promote fungal growth.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
