For the best results, make sure your timber is ready to absorb the treatment:

• Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from old coatings, grease, wax, or any surface contaminants that may block penetration.
• Lightly sand or scrape off any residues if necessary to expose bare wood for maximum effectiveness.
• The wood may be slightly damp, but do not apply to timber that is rotten or decayed, these sections should be removed and replaced before treatment.

• Shake well before use to ensure the product is thoroughly mixed and ready for effective treatment.
• Apply using a brush or low-pressure spray, making sure to work the solution into all surfaces, crevices, joints, and end grains where woodworm are most likely to be active.
• For optimum protection, apply two full coats.
• Important: The second coat must be applied while the first coat is still wet. This allows deeper penetration and ensures complete coverage before the product begins to dry.
• Drying Time: The surface will begin to dry in approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity levels.
• Ideal Application Temperature: Apply in conditions between 15°C and 25°C.
• Avoid application in temperatures below 10°C, as this can hinder absorption and drying.

A. Once applied, Rustins Woodworm Killer penetrates deep into the wood to eradicate existing woodworm and prevent reinfestation. You’ll notice that treated areas become dry and hardened over time, helping to protect your wood long-term. For best results, apply two coats while the first is still wet to ensure maximum coverage and deep penetration.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
