Note: Not suitable for outdoor use or areas subject to regular water contact, e.g. bathrooms, or areas subject to heavy water such as garage floors. Not recommended for tiles or laminate flooring.

Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean and free from dust, debris, wax, and oil.

• If wax has been applied to the surface clean with white spirit
• Bare wood, previously painted or varnished surfaces will need to be sanded prior to application
• Ensure new concrete surfaces are fully cured and free from laitance
• Please note this product is not a stain blocker and surfaces where bleeding may be an issue will require a stain blocking primer
• Not for use directly on to metal

Always ensure to perform a test patch to ensure you are happy with the finished results prior to application.

• Ensure to thoroughly stir the paint to ensure you achieve a consistent colour
• Apply when temperatures are between 10 and 30°C
• The product may be applied with a brush or short nap mohair roller
• When using a brush ensure to paint in the direction of the wood grain
• Allow to dry for 4 hours and apply a second coat

Q. Can Rust-Oleum Chalk Chalky Wood Floor Paint be used on exterior floors?

A. No, this product is formulated for internal floors only. It is not recommended for outdoor use or areas that is subject to regular water contact such as bathrooms.

Q. Can Rust-Oleum Chalk Chalky Wood Floor Paint be painted on tiles and laminate?

A. No this product is not recommended for tiles or laminate flooring.

Q. Can Rust-Oleum Chalk Chalky Wood Floor Paint be painted on previously varnished surface?

A. No, any previously varnished surfaces will need to be sanded down before applying the product as this will not adhere on the surface.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

If we have sent you a different item from what you ordered, we will be happy to organise an exchange for the correct goods at no extra charge to yourself, please get in touch to organise this.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
