Before you start, sweep, dry mop or vacuum the floor to remove loose dust, grit and debris, as trapped grit can scratch the surface while you clean. Move light furniture and rugs out of the area where possible, and check that the floor's varnish or seal is in good condition, since FLOORCLEAN PRO is designed for finished, sealed floors rather than bare or damaged timber.

If you're using it on a floor type for the first time, test the diluted solution on a small, inconspicuous area first and allow it to dry fully to check for any adverse reaction before treating the whole floor. Have your bucket, warm water, mop or scrubber-dryer and a clean rinsing cloth ready before you begin.

• For normal cleaning, mix 50ml (one capful) with 5 litres of clean warm water, a 1% dilution.
• For heavier soiling or use in a scrubber-dryer machine, increase this to 100ml (two capfuls) per 5 litres, a 2% dilution.
• Stir gently until the concentrate has fully dissolved.
• Apply the solution generously to the floor with a mop or suitable equipment, working along the length of the floorboards or flooring pattern, and leave it to work for five to fifteen minutes.
• Don't let the solution dry on the surface, and tackle larger floors in manageable sections rather than all at once.
• For stubborn or heavily soiled patches, agitate gently with a soft bristle brush before mopping.
• Once the solution has worked into the dirt, clean the surface with a mop or sponge, repeating the process on any areas that need extra attention.
• Finish by rinsing thoroughly with clean water, using a well wrung-out mop or cloth, or a scrubber-dryer machine set to low water dispensing.
• Keep water use to a minimum throughout, as excess moisture can damage some floor types, and always follow any specific guidance from your flooring or floor coating manufacturer.

Once cleaned, allow the floor to air dry fully before walking on it or replacing furniture and rugs, to avoid slipping and to let the surface dry evenly. For best results and to keep floors looking their best, use FLOORCLEAN PRO as part of a regular cleaning routine rather than only when floors look visibly dirty.

Store the container upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.
