Polycell Trade Alabastine Filler - 1.8Kg

A high-quality interior filler for the repair of large and small cracks or crevices in interior walls and ceilings, woodwork, and plasterboard. This all-purpose filler is a firm favourite with decorators as it will also plug knotholes & nail holes, fill joints in plasterboard, gaps around water pipes, and draught-proof gaps in skirtings and door frames.

Always ensure the surface to be filled is free from dirt and any contaminates that may affect adhesion. Simply brush out any dust and lose particles prior to application.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the packaging. Test on a small area of the surface to ensure compatibility.

• Mix 2-3 parts filler to 1 part water, always add the powder to the water to avoid lumps forming.
• Thoroughly mix to a thick consistency.
• When filling very porous plasterwork wetting in can be beneficial however is not necessary.
• Press the filler well into the surface with a filling knife or similar tool.
• The mixture will remain workable for up to 40 minutes.
• Filler will dry hard after 1-1½ hours.
• If required finish the repair with a wet knife and rub it down with sandpaper.
• When finished overcoat with a suitable interior paint.

Q. Do I need to use a special cleaner for my tools?

A. No, Polycell advises to clean your tools with warm water after use.

Q. Will Polycell Trade Alabastine Filler dry to a smooth finish?

A. Once the product has fully cured this will require sanding to achieve a flat, smooth surface.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
