Polycell Polyfilla Wood Filler General Repairs

A general-purpose wood filler that can be painted, stained, or varnished in as little as 2 hours. Ideal for use on both interior and exterior products for filling dents, scratches and screw holes or gaps on doors, window frames, furniture, and skirting. The quick-drying formulation gives a touch and durable fill that flexes with the natural movement of wood and will not crack or shrink. Once dry this filler can be sanded, nailed, or screwed.

Not suitable for filling gaps in floorboards.

Ensure the surface to be filled is free of loose material and dirt.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the packaging. Test on a small area of the surface to ensure compatibility.

• Place the cartridge into the skeleton gun and slowly squeeze the trigger as you move along the length of the repair.
• Tube - Cut open the nozzle and squeeze directly onto the surface.
• Tub - Use a filling knife to apply the filler to the surface.
• Work well into the gap using an appropriate tool such as a filling knife.
• Leave the filler slightly proud for sanding once dry.
• For deeper damages, build up in layers of 10mm letting it dry between layers.
• Once dry sand the filler so it is even with the surface and dust off.
• Allow to dry for 2 hours before finishing with paint, stain, or varnish.

For best results use a colour filler closest to the surface you are filling.

A. Polycell advises to not fill more than 10mm in one application.

Q. Will this wood filler dry to a smooth finish?

A. Once the product has fully cured this will require sanding to achieve a flat, smooth surface.

  Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday AM (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day for delivery on the following AM. All orders have a charge of £12.99 for AM delivery.

• Late Cut-Off: Get an extra hour to place your order for Next Working Day delivery.
  Orders placed on a working day before 4pm will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 4pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £5.99 for Late Cut-Off delivery.

• Saturday Delivery: Get your order on Saturday
  Option available on Fridays. Orders placed on Friday before 3pm will be delivered on Saturday. All orders have a charge of £9.95 for Saturday delivery.

Faulty Items

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you. Please get in touch to discuss these options. If you find fault after 30 days of purchase you may wish to contact the manufacturer directly as they will be able to offer support with the product.
