Polycell Polyfilla for Wood Large Repairs - Natural - 2 x 375g

The ideal filler for both interior and exterior large repairs on wood including windows, window frames, sills, doors, door frames, floors, joinery, sheds, and garden furniture. Highly suitable for repairs over 5mm deep and repairs o decayed or rotten wood. The two-component formulation can be painted, stained or varnished in as little as 1 hour after application.

Use with Polycell Wood Hardener on decaying or rotten wood for strength and durability.

Always ensure the surface to be filled is free from dirt and any contaminates that may affect adhesion.

• Remove any loose or flaking material using a brush.
• For decayed and rotten wood, use Polycell Wood Hardener prior to filling.
• If the area to be filled is affected by mould, lichen, algae, or moss should be treated with Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the packaging. Test on a small area of the surface to ensure compatibility.

• Remove tub A from the inner tub.
• Take an even amount out of each tub and mix together until a uniform colour is achieved.
• Mixture lasts 10 minutes do not mix more than can be applied in this time.
• Press and work the filler into the area of repair and smooth it off with a filling knife.
• After 30 minutes the filler can be shaped or carved but allow 45minutes for sanding and planning.
• Once dry the filler can be overcoated with a suitable varnish, paint, or stain.

Note: The filler may stain or varnish differently to the surrounding wood. To ensure a satisfactory result we recommend using Natural for staining or varnishing and White for painting. Fill a small test area first to ensure an acceptable appearance. Do not use with wood dye.

Q. Is Polycell Polyfilla for Wood Large Repairs pre mixed and ready to use?

A. No, this comes in a 2 part system and is advised not prepare more than can be applied in 5-10 minutes, as this is the working life of the product this will cure and will be difficult to work with.

Q. Can I apply this directly to rotten or decayed wood?

A. No, you will require to use Polycell Wood Hardener prior to filling the wood to ensure the surface is of sound structure.

  If placed on a working day before 3pm, the AM Delivery will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday AM (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day for delivery on the following AM. All orders have a charge of £12.99 for AM delivery.

• Late Cut-Off: Get an extra hour to place your order for Next Working Day delivery.
  Orders placed on a working day before 4pm will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 4pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £5.99 for Late Cut-Off delivery.

• Saturday Delivery: Get your order on Saturday
  Option available on Fridays. Orders placed on Friday before 3pm will be delivered on Saturday. All orders have a charge of £9.95 for Saturday delivery.

We do not deliver to the Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland

We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible however screens variations and different surfaces can alter this. Unfortunately in the event you do not like the colour we are unable to accept the product back if they it has been opened.

We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
