Anti Stain
Osmo Wood Wax Finish is a coloured wood finish ideal for use on interior woodwork including panelling, mouldings doors and beams. It contains a unique combination of natural oils and waxes that offer stain resistance, water-repellence and abrasion resistance. Its microporous properties give a breathable finish that does not crack, peel or flake whilst being durable and hardwearing.

Ensure the surface is clear from debris, dry and frost-free
- Clean old microporous stains thoroughly.
- Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed by sanding or using a paint stripper such as Osmo's Paint Stripper. Do not sand smooth surfaces finer than grit P120.
- Sand wood carefully, begin with a 120-150 grit for floors and 220-240 for furniture.
- Remove all dust by sweeping or vacuuming the surface.
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Results are influenced by the condition of the wood therefore a trial application is highly recommended.
Transparent Colour
- Stir the product thoroughly.
- Apply using a brush, microfibre roller or Oil Finish Applicator Fleece we recommend using Osmo's Flat Brush.
- Apply
thinly evenly along the wood grain and spread well. - Allow to dry for 12 hours under good ventilation.
Intensive Colour
- Stir the product thoroughly.
- Apply using a brush, microfibre roller, we recommend using Osmo's Flat Brush.
- Apply very thinly evenly along the wood grain and spread well.
- Allow to dry for 12 hours under good ventilation.
- Apply a second coat as above.
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the bottle.
Cleaning
Dust mopping using the green Dust-Mop from the Osmo Mop Cleaning Kit for Floors. Damp mopping using Osmo Wash and Care or Osmo Spray Cleaner.
Maintenance
Intensive cleaning and refreshing using Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner or Osmo Maintenance Oil.
Recoating
Simply re-apply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear become visible.
Q. What is the difference between the Osmo Wood Wax Finish and the Extra Clear Wood Wax Finish?
A. The extra thin wood wax oil is used for dense, exotic hardwoods that have a tight grain and high oil content. It enhances the natural tone of the wood and is only available in a clear satin finish. Where as the Osmo Wood Wax Finish is a coloured wood finish ideal for use on interior woodwork including panelling, mouldings doors and beams. It contains a unique combination of natural oils and waxes that offer stain resistance, water-repellence and abrasion resistance.

A. Osmo Wood Wax Finish is a coloured wood finish, the wood grain remains visible with transparent tones and wood grain can be hidden with intensive tones.
