Osmo MS Trade Flexible Wood Flooring Adhesive - 15kg

A single component universal flooring adhesive ideal for use with bamboo, parquet block, engineered wood plank as well as pre-finished and unfinished solid wood flooring. The specially formulated hybrid technology is solvent, isocyanate, and water free meaning it has no odour and is virtually VOC free. The adhesive also has great early strength build and creates an elastic, waterproof and strong bond when fully cured.

Before the application, be sure that the surface is dry, clean, smooth, and free from dust.

• Substrate must be smooth, level and dry. Subfloors must be level to within 5mm on a 3m span.
• Level the subfloor using a suitable leveling compound and all to fully cure before instaion.
• Adhesive and flooring must be acclimatised in an enclosed building during and during cooler months must have central heating running at least 72 hours before, during, and after installation.

We recommend performing a test with the substrate to be used to ensure adhesion. Ensure the product is at a minimum temperature of 15°C prior to application.

• Open the pail and cut into the aluminum foil bag, do not dilute the adhesive.
• Apply the adhesive with the recommended trowel, working time is around 30 minutes at 23°C.
• Flat V notch trowel is recommended for all solid, engineered, pre-finished or unfinished wood and bamboo and all thickness.
• Square notch trowel is recommended for dry-back wood parquet.
• The adhesive must have a minimum transfer of 80% to the wood flooring to guarantee installation.
• When drying allow adequate air humidity to ensure the adhesive thoroughly cures.
• Once it has hardened, it can be cleaned mechanically.
• Allow a minimum of 72 hours before sanding.
• Ensure underfloor heating is switched off 24 hours before, during and after installation, gradually building the temperature back up.

Be sure to follow the flooring manufacturer's instructions for layout, design, and any special precautions. Follow the instructions regarding the adhesive application on the manufacturer's packaging.

Q. Is it okay to reuse Osmo MS Trade Flexible Wood Flooring Adhesive if I do not use it all in one go?

A. Yes! Osmo wood adhesive is cleverly formulated to generate a layer of skin like barrier over the top of the adhesive to prevent the adhesive from drying up. Simply cut away the skin and reuse the adhesive underneath. The 600g sausages come as 2 parts making it easier to use just in case you do not require the entire amount.

Q. I have underfloor heating, will Osmo MS Trade Flexible Wood Flooring Adhesive be okay to use?

A. Yes! This is suitable for under-floor heating systems.

Q. Can Osmo MS Trade Flexible Wood Flooring Adhesive be stored after using part of the adhesive?

A. Yes, as long as this is in an airtight container.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
