• Remove all dust, dirt, grease, oil, wax, or loose particles from the repair surface.
• For best results, wipe the area with a clean, dry cloth. For heavily soiled surfaces, use a mild detergent and allow the timber to dry completely.
• Scrape away any splinters, rot, or decayed timber from the repair area.
• Ensure edges are solid and stable, as the filler will bond best to sound, undamaged wood.
• Moisture can prevent proper adhesion and compromise curing.
• Ensure the timber is fully dry before mixing and applying the filler. A moisture content below 15% is ideal.
• Avoid surfaces with paint, varnish, or other coatings unless these are removed or lightly sanded.
• Any residue may interfere with adhesion or cause uneven colour.

• Add hardener at a ratio of 50 parts base to 1 part hardener (roughly a golf-ball-sized amount of base to a pea-sized amount of hardener).
• Mix thoroughly using a spatula or stiff knife until the mixture is smooth and even in colour.
• Scrape the filler from the board at least once during mixing to ensure all material is fully combined.
• Important: Only mix small quantities at a time, enough to apply within 5 minutes, as this is a fast-curing filler.
• Apply the mixed filler directly to the repair area using a putty knife, spatula, or similar tool.
• Shape and smooth the filler using a spreader or flat former.
• Leave the filler slightly proud of the surface to allow for sanding.
• For deeper repairs, build the filler in layers, allowing each layer to cure before applying the next.
