Overview
Liberon Tung Oil is a premium, pure, and natural oil with a matt finish ideal for use on interior and exterior wood. It creates a hard-wearing surface that is highly resistant to water, alcohol, and food acids. Recommended for use on tables, high-quality interior wood such as those used in furniture and external oak. This long-lasting finish is all-natural and contains no added dryers so is safe for use on toys.

Preparation
Ensure the area to be treated is clean dry and free from dust.
• Ensure the wood surface is bare, remove any wax finishes with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover and any varnish finishes with Liberon Fine Wood Stripper.
Application
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be oiled to ensure you are happy with your results.
• Apply using a brush or lint-free cloth
• For ease of application dilute the first two coats with 50% white spirit
• Apply in the direction of the wood grain
• Allow to penetrate for 20 - 30 minutes
• Wipe off the excess oil using a clean lint-free cloth
• Allow to dry for 24 hours before applying the second coat
• Reducing the amount of white spirit used with subsequent coats
• Apply the final two coats undiluted
• Apply a minimum of 4 coats, more coats will be required for porous or external surfaces
• For best results rub gently with Liberon Ultra Fine Steel Wool (0000) between coats
• Allow to dry for a few days before use
Tip: Furniture items may be finished with Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison Paste for an improved lustre.
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
Aftercare & Storage
Maintenance
Pure Tung Oil must be maintained on a regular basis, reapply at least once to twice a year. On external timber or areas of high usage, more maintenance may be required.
Delivery
All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
