Liberon Retouch Cream is a soft, wax-based cream designed to disguise surface damage and restore colour to wood and decorative finishes. Whether filling minor dents, chips, and scratches, touching in worn areas on furniture, or filling mitre joints and pin holes on picture frames, Retouch Cream delivers a seamless, natural-looking repair with minimal effort.

Applied with a cloth and buffed to a finish, the cream blends into the surrounding surface and dries in as little as 20 minutes. All colours in the Liberon Retouch Cream range are fully intermixable, making it straightforward to blend shades and achieve a precise colour match to existing surfaces.

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and completely free from dust before application. No priming or sealing is required - Retouch Cream can be applied directly to the damaged area.

Tip: Always test on a spare surface or inconspicuous area first to check colour and compatibility before applying to the main area.

1. Prepare the surface: Ensure it is clean, dry, and free from dust.
2. Apply the cream: Using a cloth, work the Retouch Cream into the damaged area.
3. Remove excess: Gently wipe away any excess product with a clean cloth before it dries.
4. Allow to dry for a minimum of 20 minutes - longer if possible.
5. Buff to finish: Once dry, buff lightly with a lint-free cotton cloth to blend the repair into the surrounding surface.
6. Clean tools immediately after use with white spirit.

Note: If the product dries out in the pot, it can be revived by gently warming and adding a small amount of white spirit.

Once buffed, repaired surfaces can be handled normally. For additional protection and durability, consider finishing with a suitable Liberon wax or polish appropriate to the surface.

If colour fading or surface damage recurs over time, Retouch Cream can be reapplied directly to the affected area. As all colours are fully intermixable, blending to match an ageing or previously treated surface is straightforward.

Keep the lid firmly closed after use to prevent the product from drying out. If the cream does thicken or dry between uses, gently warm the pot and add a small amount of white spirit to restore a workable consistency.

A. Yes, all colours in the Liberon Retouch Cream range are fully intermixable, making it easy to blend shades and achieve a close match to the existing surface. We always recommend testing any blended colour on a spare surface or inconspicuous area before applying to the main repair.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 3pm on Friday, weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
