Overview
Liberon Quick Dry Tung Oil is a hard-wearing finish interior and exterior wood and is ideal for tables and furniture. A high-quality natural oil that penetrates the wood to offer a surface highly resistant to water, alcohol, and food acids. This is a quick-drying formulation and is recoatable in as little as 4 hours. It allows the wood to age gracefully and develop a natural patina whilst giving a long-lasting matt finish.

Preparation
Ensure the area to be treated is clean dry and free from dust.
• Remove any old waxes or polishes with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover for paints and oils remove with Liberon Fine Wood Stripper.
Application
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be oiled to ensure you are happy with your results.
• Apply using a brush or lint-free cloth
• Apply in the direction of the wood grain
• Allow the oil to penetrate for 20 minutes
• Wipe off excess oil using a clean lint-free cloth
• Allow to dry for 4 hours
• For best results gently rub with Liberon Ultra Fine Steel Wool (0000) between coats
• Apply further coats as above, 4 coats are recommended on most woods
• To check the surface is protected drop some water onto the wood and if the water beads, the surface is sealed.
• Allow the final coat to dry for 24 hours
Tip: Furniture items may be finished with Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison for an improved lustre
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
Aftercare & Storage
Cleaning
Wipe over with a damp cloth, do not wash with detergent.
Maintenance
Quick Drying Tung Oil must be maintained on a regular basis. Apply at least once or twice a year or more if required, depending upon usage.
Delivery
All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.

We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
