Liberon Decorative Furniture Varnish is ideal for the decoration and protection of furniture and woodwork inside the home. Perfect for upcycling projects, it comes in a range of pop and muted colours to add life to any special piece of furniture. It can be applied directly to laminates, melamine, MDF, varnished veneered, and stained woods. It will also offer your renovated furniture impact and stain resistance to keep it looking fresher for longer.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, and free from any dust.
• Bare wood or MDF should be lightly sanded
• Varnished Wood should be washed with a sugar soap cleaner, rinsed thoroughly with clean water, and left to dry. Lightly sand the surface with a 240 grit abrasive and remove dust
• Veneered, laminate or melamine should be washed with a sugar soap cleaner, rinsed thoroughly with clean water, and left to dry
• Old wax or oil finishes will need to be completely removed by sanding the surface
Application
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be oiled to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
• Stir well with a long wide stick
• Apply a thin first coat with a brush, working in the direction of the wood grain. Do not apply thickly
• Leave to dry for 4 Hours
• Apply a second coat
• Leave to dry for 12 hours
• For large vertical surfaces, apply 2 coats with a short pile roller
• Optimal resistance of this varnish is obtained after 20 days of drying. The surface should therefore be treated with care (avoid knocks, stains etc.) for the first 20 days
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
Delivery

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
