Liberon Home ColourCare Decorative Floor Varnish is ideal for decorating and protecting wooden and laminate floors. A fantastic varnish that requires minimal preparation and is resistant to wear and tear making it ideal for high traffic areas and busy homes. The range of modern colours create a contemporary look on varnished and pre-varnished floors made from European or exotic woods or laminates.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be varnished in clean and free from dust, grease, and debris.
• Any bare wooden floors must be sanded with a 120 grit sand paper
• Varnished, pre-varnished, or painted wooden floors if worn sand back to bare wood and remove all dust
• For varnished, pre varnished or painted wooden floors in good condition, wash, rinse and leave to dry. Sand lightly with 240 grit sand paper
• Waxed and oiled surfaces must be sanded until bare wood is reached
• Laminate flooring should be washed and left to dry. Sand lightly with a 240 grit sandpaper and remove dust
• Use a sugar soap cleaner to clean the surface of grease. Any grease or film can stop the paint from adhering properly
Application
Always stir the product and conduct a test patch to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
• Stir the varnish before and during to maintain a consistent colour throughout application, ensure to work around the bottom of the tin to mix thoroughly
• Apply using a soft-bristled brush or a 3-5mm short pile roller
• Apply in criss-cross strokes and spread evenly
• Finish in the direction of the grain
• Leave to dry for 3 hours
• Apply the second coat of varnish
• Leave to dry for 12 hours before using the area
• Always use the room with care for the first few days whilst the varnish fully cures, optimal resistance will be obtained after 2 weeks

Delivery

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
