Leyland Trade's oil based eggshell paint in Brilliant White is easy to apply and gives a durable, knock resistant mid sheen finish, for interior wood and metals. It also offers great sag resistance, so it's ideal for slanted or vertical places, such as up the stairs or on door frames. It gives a smooth, washable finish.

Preparation

It's important to ensure that the surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease. Remove all loose and defective paint and prime all new and bare surfaces with a primer such as Leyland Trade Primer. Rub down sound previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper to provide a key for the paint. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding to avoid inhaling dust particles. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.

Application

Stir well before use and apply one or two coats, as necessary, to a clean, dry, grease free surface.

Aftercare & Storage

Ensure the lid is securely closed and store in an upright position away from extremes of temperature.
