HB42 Ultimate Sealant & Adhesive is a true all-in-one solution - it seals, sticks and fills, all from a single cartridge. Built on the latest generation of advanced hybrid polymer technology, it delivers outstanding adhesion and strength for both interior and exterior use, from sealing bathrooms to fixing guttering.

Unlike many traditional sealants and adhesives, HB42 Ultimate is odourless, anti-mould, food safe and GEV approved for its very low emissions - making it a genuinely versatile, everyday-safe choice for trade and home use alike.

• Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from dust, grease and loose material.
• On porous surfaces such as concrete, apply a suitable primer first.
• Cut the cartridge seal and screw on the nozzle, cut to the required size for your joint or bond line.
• Apply masking tape along joint edges if a neat finish is required, and remove within 10 minutes of application.

• Using a skeleton gun, apply the sealant into the gap or joint to give a good, solid fill.
• For bonding applications, apply in vertical lines spaced approximately 30cm apart.
• Use a sealant finishing tool, or a stick wetted with soapy water, to achieve a smooth finish.
• Remove any masking tape within 10 minutes of application, before the surface skins.
• For bonded items, support the application for 24 hours until full curing occurs.
• If painting, use a water-based paint only - not alkyd resin paint.

Tip: With a skin time of just 10 minutes, work in manageable sections so each area can be tooled and any masking tape removed before the surface starts to skin.

Limitations: Not recommended for use on PE, PP, Teflon, wax, neoprene or bituminous surfaces. Not suitable for aquaria. Not paintable with alkyd resin paint. Not suitable for sealing insulation glass or for use in contact with PVB foil or coated glass. A primer is recommended on porous surfaces such as concrete. Contains substances that may produce an allergic reaction - refer to the safety data sheet before use. Adhesion testing prior to full application is recommended.

• Support bonded items for a full 24 hours to allow curing to complete before removing support.
• Avoid disturbing or loading sealed joints until fully cured.
• Once cured, the sealant offers lasting flexibility, anti-fungal protection and remains food safe for use in food preparation areas.
• If overpainting, wait until fully cured and use water-based paints only.

Clean Up

• Wipe away excess uncured product immediately using a dry cloth or paper towel.
• Remove uncured residue from tools and non-porous surfaces with a suitable solvent cleaner.
• Once cured, the product can only be removed mechanically, such as by scraping.
• Reseal or replace the nozzle after use to prevent the remaining product curing in the cartridge.

Storage

Store cartridges in cool, dry conditions between +5°C and +25°C to maintain performance and shelf life.

Q. Is HB42 Ultimate Sealant & Adhesive really safe to use in food preparation areas?

A. Yes. HB42 Ultimate is food safe and conforms to relevant food-contact standards, and is also anti-fungal and odourless, making it suitable for use around kitchens and food preparation surfaces.

Q. Can HB42 Ultimate Sealant & Adhesive be used to fix a mirror to a wall?

A. Yes, it's specifically suitable as a mirror adhesive. Apply in vertical lines around 30cm apart and support the mirror in place for 24 hours while it fully cures.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
