Fiddes Clear Glaze is a superior quality finish ideal for use on interior wood surfaces. This easy-to-apply glaze is available in gloss, satin, and matt finishes. It's formulated to give your interior wood a high level of protection and resistance to surface abrasion which makes it ideal for floors and surfaces with high levels of wear. Along with good coverage, quick drying times, and easy maintenance this clear glaze is the perfect product for busy homes.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, and debris.
• Remove any previous finishes by sanding with a 120 grit sandpaper or using a stripper then clean with white spirit
• Fill any cracks with an appropriate wood filler
• For barewood, rub down the surface with a 120/150 grade sandpaper and remove any dust
Application
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results
• Stir the product thoroughly, before and during use
• Ensure the area is well ventilated during and after application
• Apply at room temperature
• Fiddes Clear Glaze does not require thinning and is ready to use, however can be thinned with 10% white spirit if nessacary
• Apply thinly using a good quality bristle or synthetic brush
• Always follow the direction of the wood grain
• Leave to dry for 4-6 hours
• Apply a second ccoat as above, remebering to apply thinly
• Leave to dry another 4-6 hours before use
• Apply 2 coats to hardwoods and a maximum of 3 coats on softwoods or porous timber
• Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin
Aftercare & Storage
Cleaning
For regular light cleaning, a damp cloth should be applied and left to dry and buffed, do not over saturate. Brushing, vacum cleaning and buffing will remove minor blemishes.
Maintenance
For signs of wear an application of Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner is recommended, followed by Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax or Mellow Wax.
Delivery
All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.

Faulty Items
If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you. Please contact us to discuss these options. If you find fault after 30 days of purchase you may wish to contact the manufacturer directly as they will be able to offer support with the product.
