Not just limited to stain prevention, Dulux Trade Stain Block goes the extra mile by sealing and binding friable, dry, and powdery surfaces. From plaster to brick and distemper, this versatile solution has got you covered. It can be used to cover a range of stains including water-based and solvent-based inks, crayon, biro, coffee, grease, scuff marks, water and nicotine.

Preparation

Ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry) and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as efflorescence, dirt, grease or wax.

Where necessary, surfaces should be rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and then dusted off. Do not abrade Dulux Trade Stain Block Matt before recoating.

Application

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.

Apply by brush or short pile roller. Do not spray.

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE.

After suitable surface application, apply 1 coat of Dulux Trade Stain Block Primer to all bare or stained surfaces to allow to dry. Two coats will be necessary for difficult stains.

Finish with 1 coat of Dulux Trade Stain Block Matt or an appropriate Dulux Trade paint system.

Aftercare & Storage

Ensure that the lid is kept firmly closed at all times and store the paint upright in a dry environment, avoiding extremes of temperature. After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with water. Store in a dry place away from frost and extremes of temperature

Saturday Delivery: Get your order on Saturday
