Overview
For interior or exterior softwoods or hardwoods. Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer and Undercoat is a high opacity white primer and undercoat in one, that's ready for a re-coat in just 2-4 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. It has excellent adhesion properties and is ideal for a multitude of surfaces including fibre hardboard, fibre insulating board (except those treated with fire retardant) and chipboard. It can also be used as an undercoat on wood that has been previously painted with either a water or solvent based paint. Not recommended as a primer for metal, plaster, brickwork, rendering, asbestos, cement or rough surfaces. Do not use on heated surfaces.

Preparation
For best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (it's particularly important that new surfaces are fully dry) and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as dirt, grease or wax.
Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. Treat any knots in the wood with a knotting solution.
Application
Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin
Stir thoroughly before use. This primer can by applied using a brush, roller, conventional spray or airless spray
Leave at least 2 hours between coats, then apply an appropriate Dulux Trade paint system.
Aftercare & Storage
Ensure that the lid is kept firmly closed at all times and store the paint upright in a dry environment, avoiding extremes of temperatureDelivery
