Dulux Retail Primer and Undercoat for Wood is a quick-dry primer suitable for use on new and bare wood. Its fast-drying properties make it especially convenient to use, meaning you can get on with the painting job in good time. With minimal VOC content, it's low odour and you just need to apply one coat to protect previously coated wood, ready for painting. If the surface you're intending to paint is new or bare, you'll need two coats. This primer and undercoat is ideal for skirting boards and scuffed doors.

Preparation

Make sure the surface is clean and dry, and free from grease and grime

Application

Always test an area of the surface to be painted to ensure yu are happy with the finished results.

• Apply one coat with a brush to previously coated surfaces or two coats to bare surfaces. When fully dry apply an appropriate Dulux paint system.

• Leave 2 hours between coats

• Wait 2 hours, until it is completely dry, before painting

Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin

Aftercare & Storage

Store in a cool, dry place and avoid extremes of temperature
