Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment

Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment is a water based product for rough sawn and smooth planed timber. The low odour, all purpose formula prevents insect attack, re-infestation, kills woodworm and protects from fungal decay.

Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, algae, fungi or moss.

Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated.

• Apply liberally with a paint brush
• Apply 2-3 coats
• Apply subsequent coats after the previous has soaked in
• Pay particular attention to end grain, corners, joints and crevices
• Re-treat any surfaces cut after treatment and replacement timber
• This product may cause darkening of some timbers
• Treatment is usually dry within 1 - 3 days
• Drying time may be extended in confined areas such as under floors and in roof spaces
• Ensure timber is fully dry (allow 3 days) before laying plastic floor tiles, foam or rubber-backed carpets, loft insulation, etc

Note: Always follow the manufacturer instructions found on the bottle.

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature or wet conditions

Q. Does Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment smell when applying?

A. This effective product does not have a strong aroma as this is a water based product. This has low VOC levels which makes this product the perfect product to use on interior wood. It would still be advised to ensure the room is still well ventilated when applying this product.

Q. Can Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment be used on pressure treated wood?

A. This product can be used on both pressure treated wood and untreated bare wood and is suitable for rough, sawn and smooth timber.

Q. Do I need to treat internal bare wood prior to applying Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment?

A. To prevent wood rot, decay and other infestations it would always be advised to use a wood treatment, to keep you wood looking and lasting longer.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
