Coo-Var Floor Paint is an easy-to-use, single-pack floor paint formulated for use on a wide range of surfaces including wood, metal, concrete, or glass-reinforced plastic. It creates a resilient and hardwearing protective coating on both interior and exterior surfaces. Coo-Var Floor Paint is suitable for warehouses, garages, stairways, ledges, and more this semi-gloss finish comes in a range of colours.

All surfaces should be clean, dry and sound ensure to thoroughly sweep the floor to remove any debris.
- Concrete surfaces including power floated, granolithic and smooth surfaces should be abraded to create a key. Either sand the surface or use Coo-var Acid Etch to prepare the surface.
- New concrete must be allowed to cure for 3 months.
- Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate.
- Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased, and sanded to create a key.
- Remove all loose and flaking material to leave a smooth surface ready for sealing.
- For best results treat any knots or staining with an appropriate stain blocker.
As dictated by normal good painting practice, in confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. We recommend always performing a test on the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Mix well before application, apply using a brush or roller.
- Recoat in 16 hours, we recommend applying 2 coats.
- This floor paint will be hard dry in 12 hours and achieve full hardness in 5-7 days.

Q. Where can I use Coo-var Floor Paint?
A. Coo-var floor paint can be used on various types of surfaces, including concrete, wood, and metal floors or even glass-reinforced plastic. It offers good adhesion and coverage, allowing you to apply it to different substrates commonly found in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. However it is not suitable for use on asphalt, bituminous surfaces or on thermoplastic floor tiles.
Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.
Delivery of Tinted Products - Tinted paints are dispatched in line with our express order process, shown below. However, due to their bespoke nature, please allow up to an additional 5 working days to accommodate any potential courier delays or delivery issues before receiving a refund or replacement.
We strongly suggest customers avoid booking tradespeople until they receive their order. Next Day Paint will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to order processing errors, delivery delays, or other issues that may result in financial loss.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.
