Provide a durable and hard wearing surface with an anti-slip finish on interior and exterior floors. Ideal for use on concrete, wood, tarmac, stone, brickwork and suitably prepared metal. Coo-Var has formulated an anti slip, acrylic, floor paint that is fast drying and available in a range of colours. Suitable for warehouses, garages, driveways and more this acrylic-based paint has a low sheen, matt finish for a modern look.

All surfaces should be clean, dry and sound ensure to thoroughly sweep the floor to remove any debris.

• Concrete surfaces including power floated, granolithic and smooth surfaces should be abraded to create a key. Either sand the surface or use Coo-var Acid Etch to prepare the surface.
• For best results new concrete must be allowed to cure for 3 months.
• Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate.
• Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased, and sanded to create a key.
• Remove all loose and flaking material to leave a smooth surface.
• Treat any knots or staining with an appropriate stain blocker to avoid discolouration.

Always provide adequate ventilation during application and drying, especially in interior projects.

• We recommend performing a test on a small area prior to application.
• Mix well before use, and apply using a brush or roller working from the exterior inwards.
• Recoat in 6 hours and hard dry in 4 hours.
• It will achieve full hardness in 5-7 days.

Advice should be sought for coating new timber or pressure preservative treated timber.

A. The primary purpose of this paint is to improve safety by creating a non-slip surface. It contains added aggregates or particles that provide grip and increase friction, reducing the chances of accidents in areas prone to slipping, such as ramps, stairs, walkways, or industrial floors.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
