Caparol Capatox Biocide Solution - 5 Litres

Caparol Capatox is an aqueous microbiocide solution for the pretreatment and disinfection of surfaces affected by algae, moss, mould and fungus.

Designed for use on both internal and external surfaces, Capatox is applied after the affected area has been thoroughly cleaned and before subsequent coating. It provides a supportive treatment to help prepare contaminated surfaces for further decorating or protective coatings.

Capatox is supplied ready to use and must be applied undiluted by brush. Depending on the roughness and absorbency of the substrate, the approximate coverage is 50-150 ml/m².

Interior surfaces: Remove mould by wet cleaning, observing all applicable legal requirements relating to biological and hazardous substances.

Exterior surfaces: Remove algae, moss, mould and fungus deposits by wet blasting, following applicable legal requirements. Mechanically remove any remaining roots from climbing plants, or remove them by flaming where appropriate.

Once the affected surface has been thoroughly cleaned, allow it to dry before applying Capatox.

For professional removal of mould growth indoors, further guidance should be obtained from the relevant authorities.

1. Ensure the cleaned surface is dry before application.
2. Apply Capatox undiluted using a brush.
3. Thoroughly wet the cleaned surface with the product.
4. Allow the treated surface to dry thoroughly before applying subsequent coatings.
5. Allow approximately 50–150 ml/m², depending on the roughness and absorbency of the substrate.
6. After use, clean application tools with water.

Important: Capatox must always be used undiluted and applied by brush. Follow all applicable regulations when carrying out mould, algae, moss or fungus removal.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
