Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Bedec tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Clean Up	Clean up immediately after use with warm soapy water. Remove as much product as possible prior to cleaning.

For the best results always thoroughly prepare the surface. Ensure the surfaces to be painted are clean dry and free from dust, dirt, grease, and wax.

• Remove any loose, flaking, or defective paint.
• Treat algae, moss, or fungal growth with a suitable fungicidal wash before painting.
• On untreated render, plaster, brickwork, or any porous substrate, thin the first coat with approximately 30% clean water to ensure proper penetration.
• Where there is a risk of staining (extractive discolouration), apply Bedec Stain Block before painting.
• Always test a small area first to check for staining before proceeding with full application.
• Large cracks: Cut out and repair with a flexible exterior filler, ensuring a smooth finish.
• Hairline cracks: Apply Extra-Flex directly into the cracks and feather out to blend with the surrounding surface. One or two additional coats may be required to fully bridge the crack.

Proper preparation is essential for durability and performance, taking extra care at this stage ensures a smooth, long-lasting finish.

We always recommend testing a small inconspicuous area to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Please be aware colours can vary on screens.

• Ensure all cracks are properly treated and the surface is clean, dry, and sound before painting.
• Apply two to three full coats of Extra-Flex over the entire area for maximum protection and durability.
• Suitable for application by brush, roller, conventional spray, HVLP, or airless spray.
• Stir thoroughly before use and confirm the colour is correct prior to application.
• Do not apply at air or surface temperatures below 10°C.
• Avoid painting in foggy conditions or if rain is likely before the coating has fully dried.
• On sealed surfaces, apply two to three coats, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
• Apply evenly and avoid over-spreading, as this will reduce performance.

Ensure to clean the rim of the paint tin and firmly replace the lid before storing in a cool , dry area that will protect the paint from low temperatures. Do not store in a shed or by hanging on a hook.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 3pm on Friday, weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. 

Delivery of Tinted Products - Tinted paints are dispatched in line with our express order process, shown below. However, due to their bespoke nature, please allow up to an additional 5 working days to accommodate any potential courier delays or delivery issues before receiving a refund or replacement.

We strongly suggest customers avoid booking tradespeople until they receive their order. Next Day Paint will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to order processing errors, delivery delays, or other issues that may result in financial loss.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items
