Bedec Acrylic Floor Paint is a high-performance, self-crosslinking acrylic coating designed for both commercial and domestic floors. Formulated with high-build modified acrylic resins, it delivers a tough, durable finish with excellent adhesion, abrasion resistance, and long-lasting colour retention. The built-in micro-aggregate provides slip-resistant properties, giving added safety in high-traffic areas.

Suitable for a wide variety of substrates, including wood, concrete, cement rendering, stone, MDF, chipboard, and most types of plastic. Clear floor paint is not slip-resistant and should be used accordingly.

Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Bedec tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Clean Up	Clean up immediately after use with warm soapy water. Remove as much product as possible prior to cleaning.

Proper preparation is essential for a durable, professional finish with Bedec Floor Paint. Follow these steps for best results:

• Clean & dry surfaces: Ensure all areas are free from dust, dirt, grease, and wax.
• Remove loose coatings: Strip away any flaking or defective paint.
• Mould, algae, or fungal growth: Remove growths and treat affected areas with a suitable fungicidal wash.
• Glossy surfaces: Lightly abrade smooth or shiny areas to provide a key for adhesion.
• Metal surfaces: Bare steel should be clean, rust-free, and dust-free before applying Phosphate Grey or Red Oxide.
• Wood surfaces:
  • New planed, finished, or PSE timber: lightly sand to open the grain for maximum penetration.
  • Where extractive discolouration is possible, treat with Bedec Stain Block and test a small area first. Knots should also be treated (knotting solution not recommended).
• Porous substrates: For new wood, cement render, or similar, thin the first coat with 30–40% clean water to improve absorption.
• Concrete surfaces: Ensure any laitance is washed off. Not recommended for power-floated concrete unless scarified to improve adhesion.

Always test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure you are satisfied with the colour and finish. Keep in mind that colours may appear differently on screens.

• Proper preparation is essential - skipping these steps can affect adhesion and the final results.
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use and apply with a brush or roller.
• For new wood, cement render, or other porous surfaces, thin the first coat with 30-40% clean water for better absorption.
• Apply two full coats, allowing at least 4 hours drying time between coats.
• For areas subject to heavy wear, a third coat is recommended for extra durability.
• Allow 16-24 hours drying time before using the floor.

Note: Coverage may vary depending on the texture and porosity of the surface.

Ensure to clean the rim of the paint tin and firmly replace the lid before storing in a cool, dry area that will protect the paint from low temperatures. Do not store it in a shed or by hanging on a hook.

Do not clean the surface with strong alkaline cleaners as this may deteriorate the surface. Clean by mopping lightly with a weak detergent solution and rinse with clean water.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
