Before painting, ensure all surfaces are sound, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, salts, and any defective or poorly adhering coatings.

• Remove loose or flaking material by scraping and sanding, then wipe down to create a smooth, stable base.
• Treat Existing Mould: Remove any visible mould, algae, or organic growth using Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash, ensuring the area is fully cleaned and dry before coating.
• New Surfaces: Newly plastered or masonry substrates must be completely dry before priming or painting.
• Lead Paint Warning: Take special precautions when preparing old paintwork, especially on wood or metal surfaces coated before the 1990s, as these may contain lead. Use appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment when sanding or stripping.

Correct preparation is essential to ensure maximum adhesion, long-lasting protection, and a smooth, professional finish.

Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.

• On very absorbent surfaces, first apply a sealing coat of thinned Armstead Trade Anti-Mould Vinyl Matt.
• Application can be done using a brush or roller. For Health and Safety reasons related to all fungicidal paints, spray application is not recommended.
• Apply 1-2 full coats of Armstead Trade Anti-Mould Vinyl Matt, ensuring even coverage throughout.
• Allow 2-4 hours between coats. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
• Clean brushes and rollers with clean water immediately after use.

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost. To prevent spillage, please store and transport upright.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
