Cleaning your wax brush

• Clean immediately after use - don't leave wax to set in the fibres, as it becomes much harder to remove once dry.
• Wipe away as much excess wax as possible by pressing the bristles firmly onto a cloth or piece of card before washing.
• Work a generous amount of washing-up liquid into the dry bristles before introducing any water - this breaks down the wax far more effectively than water alone.
• Rinse under warm running water, working the fibres with your fingers. Repeat the soap and rinse process until the water runs completely clear.
• Reshape the fibres gently with your fingers and leave to dry naturally, bristles down or flat.

Never leave your brush soaking in water or standing bristles-up - both will damage the fibres and shorten the life of the brush.

Q. Which size Wax Brush should I choose - Small or Large?

A. The Small Wax Brush is ideal for detailed work, intricate carvings, chair legs and smaller pieces where precision and manoeuvrability matter. The Large Wax Brush is best suited to bigger surfaces - tabletops, cabinet doors and large flat panels - where its wider head can cover ground quickly and efficiently. For most furniture projects, the Large is the natural go-to, while the Small earns its place whenever there are curves, grooves or hard-to-reach areas to contend with.

Delivery - All orders placed on a working day before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day for next working day delivery. Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 3pm on Friday, weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. 

Delivery of Tinted Products - Tinted paints are dispatched in line with our express order process, shown below. However, due to their bespoke nature, please allow up to an additional 5 working days to accommodate any potential courier delays or delivery issues before receiving a refund or replacement.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

If we have sent you a different item from what you ordered, we will be happy to organise an exchange for the correct goods at no extra charge to yourself, please get in touch to organise this.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
