Toupret Airless Jointing Plaster is a premium ready-to-use interior jointing and skimming compound, specifically formulated for plasterboard applications via airless spray machine. Designed for professional use on large-scale drylining and boarding projects, it eliminates the need for mixing, priming, or sealing — simply load and spray.

Suitable for new build and renovation projects, Toupret Airless Jointing Plaster adheres directly to a wide range of interior substrates including gypsum, plasterboard, old painted surfaces, cement, concrete, and cellular concrete. It dries to a clean white finish, ready for painting or decorating within 24 to 48 hours.

With a maximum application thickness of up to 5mm per coat and a coverage rate of 1,700g/m² at 1mm thickness, this product is built for speed and efficiency on demanding interior finishing projects. Once cured, it is fully compatible with all types of fillers, paints, and wall coverings.

Proper substrate preparation is essential to achieve optimal adhesion and a quality finish. All substrates must be prepared in accordance with current trade practices before applying Toupret Airless Jointing Plaster.

Substrates must be:

• Hard and structurally sound - remove any loose, flaking, or friable material
• Cohesive - ensure the surface has adequate bonding strength
• Clean - free from dust, grease, oil, mould, and contaminants
• Dry - do not apply to damp or wet surfaces

Toupret Airless Jointing Plaster can be applied directly to new or renovated substrates, including gypsum, plasterboard/drywall, old painted surfaces, cement, concrete, and cellular concrete. There is no requirement to prime or seal the surface prior to application.

Any existing coatings must be firmly bonded to the substrate. Do not apply over loose or detached coatings, polystyrene, wallpaper, or any exterior surfaces.

Toupret Airless Jointing Plaster is applied using an airless spray machine with a minimum flow rate of 5L/min. It is ready to use straight from the bag — no mixing or dilution is required.

1. Ensure the substrate is fully prepared (see Preparation Instructions) before beginning application.
2. Load the product into your airless spray machine. For optimum results, use nozzles sized between 3.31 and 6.35.
3. Apply the plaster in an even, consistent pass across the plasterboard surface. A maximum thickness of 5mm per coat is recommended.
4. Allow the first coat to become hard and dry to the touch before applying a second coat if required.
5. Allow 24 to 48 hours for the surface to fully dry before overcoating with paint, filler, or wall coverings.
6. Do not apply direct heat sources to the surface to accelerate drying, as this may cause cracking or surface defects.
7. Once fully cured, the surface is compatible with all types of fillers, paints, and wall coverings.

Do not apply:

• On bonded or loosely adhered coatings
• Over polystyrene or wallpaper
• On damp or overheated substrates
• On exterior surfaces
• At temperatures below +8°C or above +35°C
• At relative humidity above 70%

Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

To maintain product quality and ensure the 12-month guarantee remains valid, store Toupret Airless Jointing Plaster in accordance with the following guidelines:

• Store in the original, sealed packaging
• Keep in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight
• Protect from frost - do not allow the product to freeze
• Keep away from heat sources and damp conditions
• Do not stack bags excessively - follow safe manual handling guidelines
• Once opened, use promptly and reseal any unused portion where possible

Product is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase when stored in the original sealed packaging, away from sunlight and frost. If the product is found to be faulty within the guarantee period, a replacement will be arranged on proof of purchase.

Q. What airless spray machine do I need to apply Toupret Airless Jointing Plaster?

A. You will need an airless spray machine with a minimum flow rate of 5 litres per minute. For the best results, Toupret recommends using nozzles sized between 3.31 and 6.35. The product is ready to use straight from the bag with no mixing or dilution required, making it straightforward to load and apply with compatible equipment.
