Barrettine Wood Reviver

Water based Barrettine Wood Reviver contains oxalic acid, a biodegradable organic acid found naturally in plants such as rhubarb and spinach. It restores grey, UV-damaged wood back to its original warm tones. Wood Reviver can also rescue wood from surface mould, tannin runs, watermarks, iron, rust and light dirt. This is a low VOC, ready to use reviver, free from chlorine bleach. Its easy to apply and produces results in around 20 minutes, saving the work, mess and dust of heavy sanding.

Wood must be clean and bare before treating.

• Wood Reviver may remove some existing wood finishes, however if surface coatings remain, use Barrettine Paint Panther® or Peelaway® to remove oil, paint, varnish or wax.
• Do not use a pressure washer to clean wood prior to application of Wood Reviver.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.

• Apply out of direct sunlight, in temperatures between 5-30°C.
• Wet the wood with water before applying the Wood Reviver.
• Using a brush or roller, apply generously to all visible sides of wood or panels, in the direction of the grain to areas 2m2 at a time to stop the wood from drying out.
• If it does dry, repeat the wetting process by spraying with water or wipe with a damp cloth to rehydrate.
• Leave the Wood Reviver to work for 15-30 minutes.
• Rub the surface with a cloth or non-metal brush dampened with water to agitate it. Finally rinse again thoroughly. Repeat the process as necessary.
• Wood restoration and colour change may not be entirely visible until the wood has dried.

Please note: The appearance of the revived wood will vary depending wood type, age and condition. A light sanding may be required to restore a smooth finish.

Reseal container, always store upright and secure at all times. Store between 5-30°C, do not allow to freeze.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
