Dulux Trade Acrylic Gloss in Pure Brilliant White is a professional quality, high sheen, quick drying finish with good application and flow. Suitable for use on interior wood and metal, it is highly durable with good non-yellowing properties. Use with Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat for best results.

    To get the best result from Dulux Trade Acrylic Gloss, make sure surfaces are sound, clean and dry. It is particularly important that new surfaces are fully dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as dirt, grease and wax. Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet flatting’ methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.

    Treat knots with an appropriate knotting solution. When painting new and bare wood, apply one thinned coat of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat. Prime all bare metal with an appropriate Dulux Trade metal primer. Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate filler.

    When applying this or any other water-based paint to surfaces previously decorated with a conventional solvent- based paint, very thorough surface preparation will be necessary.

    Thinning is not usually necessary but if required add up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint.

    Stir the paint thoroughly. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Use a good quality synthetic nylon polyester brush, designed for use with water-based paints. Apply 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat as required, followed by 1 or 2 coats of the Acrylic Gloss. Generally 1 or 2 coats is sufficient, but where there's a strong colour change, 3 will be needed. Do not close newly painted doors or windows tightly until the paint has fully dried.

    Aftercare & Storage

    Store and transport upright, away from extreme temperatures and frost.

    If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
