Dulux Sealer for Plaster seals, ready for painting, and is ideal for priming bare plaster, powdery surfaces and plasterboard. This product is suitable for indoor use only. Please note that where there is staining, a specialist primer should be used. This is a water-based sealer, with a low VOC content

Preparation

Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of grease.

• If it is damaged, repair prior to using the sealer

• Remove flaking or defective paintwork and sand the surface down

• Refer to health, safety and environmental information

Application

Test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with finished results

• Stir thoroughly in the tin before use to ensure that the sealer is completely mixed

• Apply one coat with a brush or a short pile roller on larger areas that have a smooth surface

• Appears blue when first applied to help ensure even coverage, but this will become virtually clear on drying

• When the sealer is completely dry, in 18-24 hours, apply the appropriate paint. Do not rub down the sealer prior to overcoating as this will reduce its sealing properties

Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin

Aftercare & Storage

Store the sealer in dry conditions and avoid extremes of temperature
