DOWSIL™ Ecoseal 796 Silicone Sealant is a high-performance, one-part, neutral-curing silicone sealant designed for a wide range of sealing applications. Featuring low modulus and high elasticity, it provides excellent adhesion to various substrates without the need for a primer. This 100% silicone product is ideal for sealing PVC-U, glass, glazed surfaces, and brickwork, making it particularly popular for sealing around windows and doors.

With its neutral cure and low odour, DOWSIL™ 796 offers a user-friendly application process and long-lasting performance. It is resistant to UV radiation, and extreme temperatures, ensuring durability in challenging environments. Ensure that all surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, sound, and free from frost. Remove any release agents, water repellents, laitance, dust, dirt, old sealants, or other contaminants that could affect adhesion. For non-porous surfaces, clean and degrease using a suitable solvent, such as DOWSIL™ R-40 Universal Cleaner, applied with an oil- and lint-free cloth. For porous substrates, clean mechanically using a steel brush, sanding disc, or similar tool.

Note: When using solvents, ensure proper ventilation. Avoid heat, sparks, and open flames. Wear solvent-resistant gloves and follow all safety instructions on the solvent container label.

• Minimum joint width: 6 mm
• For joints between 6–12 mm, a seal depth of 6 mm is required.
• For joints wider than 12 mm, use a width-to-depth ratio of 2:1.
• For joints larger than 25 mm, consult your regional service center for guidance.
• In fillet joints, ensure a minimum of 6 mm sealant bite to each substrate.

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
