Osmo Country Colour is an natural oil based, opaque, satin finish ideal for use on exterior wood including cladding, windows, shutters, fences, pergolas and garden furniture. Country colour is highly water-repellent and extremely weatherproof, the microporous finish allows wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage so your finish woodwork does not crack, peel, flake or blister. This satin finish comes in a variety of colours and is easy to apply and maintain.

Always ensure the surfaces to be treated is clean, dry and frost free.
- Clean old microporous stains thoroughly.
- Old paints and lacquers must be removed by sanding or using an appropriate wood stripper such as Osmo's Paint Stripper.
- If additional protection against blue stain, rot and insects is desired, pre-treat the wood if possible on all sides with Osmo WR Base Coat.
- Always ensure surface is clean and clear from any contaminates.
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with your results.
- Stir product thoroughly.
- Apply with a Osmo Flat Brush or Microfibre Roller.
- Apply thinly and evenly in the direction of the wood grain and spread well.
- Allow to dry for 10-12 hours.
- After drying apply a second coat as above, remembering to apply the product thinly.
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the bottle.
Cleaning
Cleaning the surface regular will keep the surface looking fresher for longer, do not over saturate the surface
Occasional Maintenance
If necessary, intensive cleaning and refreshing using Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel or Osmo Gard Cleaner.
Recoating
Simply re-apply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear become visible.
Q. Do I need to prime the wood before applying Osmo Country Colour?
A. You will not require a primer as this will need to penetrate into the wood. If additional protection against blue stain, rot and insects is desired, pre-treat the wood if possible on all sides with Osmo WR Base Coat.
